Tamela Roche

When I was young my parents bought their dream house; a Victorian built in the late 1800’s that needed extensive renovation.  For two weeks I gained hands-on experience as a helper to all the contractors doing everything from knocking down walls, painting, carpentry, plumbing and masonry.  Who knew at the time I would someday benefit greatly from seeing first-hand how entire floors plans can be completely redesigned and an entire home transformed.

The home renovation experience of my childhood serves me well every day previewing properties for clients.  Not only did this experience give me the ability to envision transformations possible, I gained a deep respect for quality workmanship, attention to detail and appreciation for “good bones” in a home well built.

It is also a privilege that my “work” requires me to spend time in the historical treasures so well preserved and renovated in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville and throughout New England.

Residential real estate is my full-time profession and truly rewarding to help clients see their dreams become reality.  I am blessed for working with wonderful clients over the years who continue to make my day job so fulfilling, and lucky to know like-minded professional service partners who provide exceptional home services to my clients.  A deeply heartfelt “Thank You” to every Client and service provider who has and continues to contribute to my success in this field!

Helping those who need it most … is my hobby. I enjoy supporting the children of “Our Place” – Salvation Army Day Care Center for homeless children; volunteering as a reading mentor with Everybody Wins! Metro Boston; leading the “Pie It Forward” team to sell hundreds of delicious Thanksgiving Pies for Community Servings; and fundraising for the amazing staff and teachers of Breakthrough Cambridge to keep inspiring their students to realize their dream of a college education.  For more information on these and other highly-reputable non-profit organizations visit the “Helping Hands” page.
